Greetings

I’m Starlene, your DC wedding ceremony officiant. Most people call me Rev. Currently, I am walking a path of inner peace, spirituality, and creativity.

My life has spiraled in many directions and led me into numerous battles for justice, all of which have brought me back to my authentic, creative, God-loving self.

I find joy in officiating weddings, designing hats for the occasion, advocating for equality, and creating art—that’s where my passion lies. Crafting spiritual and holistic products and offering healing energy to those who connect with me is God’s calling on my life.

“Startum” is my brainchild, born out of my name during the ’70s, when my life was all about the arts. Today, as a spiritual worker, I enjoy sending positive, healing vibrations to seekers, and this energy is infused into everything I do.

Now, onto the more mundane details: I am ordained in spiritual science, married for 30 years, a believer in miracles, and a highly blessed cancer survivor. I am also a caretaker of 2 feral cats, identify as ‘she/her, a licensed AI  dealer/creator, remain an advocate, and love spending time with my cockerpoo/beagle and husband.
