Hi, I’m Starlene, your Maryland wedding ceremony officiant, but most people just call me Rev. These days, I’m living my best life, focusing on inner peace, spirituality, and creativity.

Life’s taken me in so many directions, and every twist and turn has helped me grow, gain wisdom, and become my true, creative self.

I find joy in officiating weddings, designing hats for the occasion, advocating for equality, and creating art—that’s where my passion lies.

“Startum” is my brainchild, born out of my name during the ’70s, when my life was all about the arts. Today, as a spiritual worker, I enjoy sending positive, healing vibrations to seekers, and this energy is infused into everything I do.

Now, onto the more mundane details: I am ordained in spiritual science, married for 32+ years, and a believer in God’s miracles.

I am also a caretaker of 2 feral cats, identify as she/her, a human rights advocate, and love spending time with my cockerpoo/beagle and husband.
