Hey, I’m Starlene—an experienced Maryland wedding officiant, proudly serving Prince George’s County, Montgomery County, Anne Arundel County, and surrounding areas. With over 21 years of experience, I’ve officiated hundreds of weddings across Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia, helping couples create ceremonies that are joyful, memorable, and deeply personal.

I’m living my best semi-retired life as a spiritual minister, activist, and creative soul. I’m also honored to represent the National Spiritual Science Center Historical Society, which deepens my lifelong commitment to spiritual service.

These days, I focus on love, peace, and spirituality—while still doing what I enjoy most: officiating weddings, designing bold hats, and making art that heals. Startum was born in the 1970s during my art-centered youth, and it continues to reflect my creative and spiritual journey today.

As a spiritual worker and ordained minister, I channel healing vibrations into every aspect of my work—including your wedding day. I’ve been happily married for more than 32 years and truly believe in the power of God, love, and miracles. I bring that same energy into each ceremony I create.

When I’m not officiating, you’ll find me caring for two feral cats and a sweet cockerpoo-beagle mix—living in flow with nature and spirit.
