My services as a wedding minister and wedding officiant in the Annapolis, North Beach, Northern Virginia and Washington DC areas; are designed to help you to create a ceremony that symbolizes your love, commitment, and determination to be one.   

If you choose not to participate in the writing of your ceremony, I will create one which expresses your inner feelings, uniqueness, and beliefs.  Either way, your ceremony will reflect the brilliance of your inner selves.

$385 to $625 (Within the Greater Washington DC  Area)

$385 to $795 (Outside the DC Metropolitan Area)

Please Note:  All ceremonies require a valid marriage license or original marriage certificate (for previously married couples) that must be presented to me prior to my officiating your wedding ceremony.  

For marriage licensing procedures, please check with the marriage bureau of the circuit court in the jurisdiction in which you are planning to get married. 

 

Free initial consultation.  And once booked, you will receive a draft ceremony, workbook with sample ceremonies, and a premarital questionnaire.

 

The above fees are based on writing and revising the ceremony, traveling to and from the wedding site, rehearsal attendance, wedding party direction and coordination, my time corresponding with you, filing the county marriage license, officiating the ceremony, advertising cost, website hosting, 5% cost of living increase, other logistics, and (if applicable) a holiday wedding fee ($60 is added to the base cost).

I am, Rev. Starlene Joyner Burns a nondenominational - interfaith wedding minister, wedding celebrant,  and wedding officiant.  In addition, I am the founder and director of SJB Ministries LLC.  Currently, I am a  minister in good standing at the National Spiritual Science Center.

 

And I studied four consecutive years to become an ordained minister of Spiritual Science.  Prior to that I was ordained in the Christian faith.  With more than six years of experience, I am ready to perform my duties as an interfaith - nondenominational  minister.  In addition, I provide the following services:  baby blessings, private baptisms, memorials, funerals (including pets), and other rites of passage.   I am compassionate, ethical, and professional.  And as an Annapolis officiant, I will work hard with you to ensure that your ceremony is memorable.

The territory in which I will be offering my customized services as a traveling wedding minister and wedding officiant are:  parts of Southern Maryland that includes;  Prince Georges County, Calvert County, St. Mary's County, and Charles County.  In addition, I will extend my area of coverage to; Montgomery County, MD; Howard County, MD; Anne Arundel County, MD; Frederick County, MD; Carroll County, MD; Baltimore County, MD; Baltimore City; MD; Arlington County, VA, Fairfax County, VA; Alexandria, VA; and Washington, DC.

After reserving your wedding date and time with me, you may secure my services with a $100 nonrefundable deposit.  This payment can be made by check, cash, or money order. 

 

I normally collect this fee at the conclusion of our first meeting (whether we meet in person or over the phone).  The balance is due 60 days prior (check or cash) to your wedding.  For short notice weddings, all money is due at the time of booking.
